How could you come to Mississauga and not go to the infamous Ridgeway plaza. There's lots to enjoy from coffee shops like Matari, to grab and go spots like Potato Bar.
Here's a list of spots we recommend:
- Try the Yemeni iced latte at Matari
- Build your own loaded potato at Potato Bar
- Try the infamous Jabal
- Get a dessert that's likely to put you in a food coma at Aseer Time
- Best shawarma in the city at Sumaq
- Insane tandoori fries at Burger Bloc
- Best halal smash burger in town at GC Burger
- Late night paan and chaat at Bollywood Unlimited
- Hakka food at Ginsoy
We also highly recommend Masrawy for some amazing Egyptian food and a phenomenal brunch. Try their "On the Nile" brunch!!
Eggstatic has a brunch to die for. Eggstatic is fully halal and offer a wider variety of brunch items, from sweet to savoury to somewhere in between. We recommend you either make a reservation ahead of time or be prepared to wait hours.
How could you come to Ontario and not go to the big falls. There are a few ways you can get to Niagara Falls from Mississauga. You can take the GoTrain from Mississauga (Oakville or Downtown Toronto) to Niagara. If you have a car, you can drive (it's a 1 hour or so drive away).
We recommend taking a day out to visit Niagara Falls and staying till 11pm for the fireworks they frequently have in the summer. If you do not have a full day, Niagara, can also be a quick trip. Be sure to visit Clifton Hill while there!
